No doubt, a significant reason for the US decision to invade Iraq was AIPAC, the pro-Israel lobby. That is not to say that there were not other reasons--like George Bush's ambition. However, AIPAC seemed to be influential in Congress.
The trouble is that AIPAC is so powerful and so well-funded that it is hard to fight.
There is one organization that has the potential to counterbalance AIPAC. This is the Council for the National Interest. It has no ties to white nationalism and several quite respectable people sit on its board.

Future Course of this blog
I am thinking of subdividing this blog into various topics: healthy diet, economic self-sufficiency, education, and family issues. Also, there will be large sections on political activism.
I hope what I write will be useful to white nationalists who want to avoid mindless hatred but who want to strengthen our own community.

White Nationalism without Racism
As the U.S. was preparing to invade Iraq, I became attracted to White Nationalism. My reason was simple: while the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, and nearly all leading political figures were baying for war, the white nationalist movement was almost universally opposed to it.
Furthermore, while American Jews as individuals were no more likely to support the war than anyone else, I couldn't help but notice that the leaders of the organized Jewish community were actively promoting it. AIPAC lobbied for it, members of the Simon Wiesenthal Center wrote op-ed pieces endorsing it, and the Conference of Presidents of Major Jewish Organizations under the leadership of Mortimer Zuckerman were positively fanatical in their support of it. (However, some leftists groups in the Conference like the Workman's Circle, opposed it. ) Abe Foxman, that paragon of tolerance, never missed a chance to speak in favor of a war that would shift the responsibility for defending Israel's interests away from members of *his* ethnic group and onto members of other ethnic groups. While engaged in the non-stop promotion of war, he condemned anyone as anti-Semitic who had the audacity to point out the obvious.
If Jews can form ethnically-based organizations to lobby for war, it seemed only reasonable to me that non-Jews should be able to form ethnically-based organizations to oppose the slaughter of their people.
In fairness, I do want to point out that there are many Jewish groups and individuals who opposed the war, but they lacked the size, financial resources, and organization of these larger groups.
However, as I read more white nationalist literature and websites, I found that much of it bothered me. More time was spent bashing other races and ethnic groups than was spent in activities that strengthened the white, Christian community.
Furthermore, much of what is often claimed about other groups is misleading. Yes, black crime is a problem, but lots of black people are employed, family-oriented, and church-going. I cannot condemn ordinary people for the actions of others simply because they share skin color. Furthermore, while I admit I prefer white Christian culture, I also admit that there is a lot about black culture and black people that I like.
Similarly, as much as I condemn the neoconservatives and the "Jewish lobby," it is also true that many Jews opposed the war, hold moderate views on the Middle East, and are perfectly reasonable people. Undoubtedly there are more Jews working as public school teachers than there are Jews dedicated to influencing US foreign policy. I have also found that many Jews have treated me compassionately when I have had the kinds of personal problems that many "Christian" people would have condemned me for. Many Jews have sophisticated and nuanced views of life that have helped and comforted me during difficult times.
Most importantly, I found that too many white nationalist tend to assume that if blacks and Jews were to leave America and the country were to become white and Christian (or pagan) that most of the problems of white culture would be solved.
I do not believe this is true. The major problems affecting white society are, I believe, the physical decline of our people due to industrialized diets and sedentary lifestyles, the decline of our family and the rapid increase in fatherlessness, and the de-emphasis of education. As a former teacher, it saddens me that so many kids don't do homework because they have after-school jobs. They are giving up valuable time to study in order to buy cell phones and CD players now. Among immigrants like Indians and East Asians, children are told that school is their job and they are expected to spend hours studying instead of working in fast-food restaurants. Yes, they do without toys but these are the kids winning the math and science prizes and getting accepted to Harvard, MIT, and Cornell.
I have started this blog as a forum for my ideas about how to rebuild white community in the US.
If you are from another ethnic group, please do not feel that I am opposed to you. I am not. I may, and probably do, oppose certain political agendas but I am not opposed to you as a person. As a political matter, I favor a political identity based on citizenship that is available to all without regard to race or religion. My concern as a white nationalist is with cultural identity and how to maintain it.
In the following months, I will be posting essays on various topics about white nationalism. I hope you will find the essays thought-provoking even if you don't agree with them.
